Dynamic Range Enhancement in Reflectometry by Synthesis of Optical Coherence Function with Half-wave Intensity Modulation

Abstract

Half-wave intensity modulation is proposed for apodization in synthesis of optical coherence function to suppress side-lobes around synthesized delta-function-like coherence peak, which realizes higher dynamic range of reflectometry applications.
