Survivable Transparent Flexible Optical WDM (FWDM) Networks

Abstract

We propose an efficient survivable FWDM network design algorithm for the first time. Survivable FWDM networks are efficient in terms of spectral utilization, power consumption, and cost compared to the conventional survivable fixed grid networks.
