Phase Sensitive Degenerate Parametric Amplification Using Highly Efficient PPLN Ridge Waveguides

Abstract

We constructed the first CW pumped degenerate parametric amplifier based on PPLN waveguides. We successfully demonstrated an in-phase gain of +11 dB and the phase sensitive amplification of a modulated signal.
