Efficient Regenerator Placement and Wavelength Assignment in Optical Networks

Abstract

We present a novel auxiliary graph approach for optical networks regenerator placement and wavelength assignment (RPWA) problem. Simulation results show that our proposed approach outperforms other two approaches significantly.
