Abstract

A wavelength-transparent, continuously-tunable 7.34-μs all-optical delay is demonstrated for 10-Gb/s NRZ signal by cascading discrete and continuous stages. 3.7- to 4.3-dB penalty is reported for the entire system that includes four successive silicon-based parametric processes.
