Abstract

We demonstrate measurement of mean fiber DGD using asynchronous delay-tap sampling in a 10Gbit/s WDM test-bed. With and without polarization scrambling, mean DGD values of 30.5ps and 26.2ps were measured on 31ps all-order PMD fiber.
