Abstract

We experimentally compare the performance of BPSK-based dual- and single-carrier coherent solutions at 40 Gb/s over low-dispersion fiber. We show that the single-carrier solution is more tolerant to cross-nonlinearities induced by 10 Gb/s neighbors.
