Chirped Sub-50 fs Pulse Generation: Optimization of Fiber Length for Ultrafast Fiber Optical Parametric Oscillators

Abstract

Sub-50 fs pulses at 940 nm having linear chirp are generated using a synchronously-pumped fiber optical parametric oscillator where the fiber length is chosen to compensate for dispersion from optical components inside of the cavity.
