Abstract

For the first time, a spectrum-compressed very-high-throughput wireless-over-fiber system leveraging duobinary signaling is proposed. Error-free transmission of a 10-Gbps duobinary signal at 60-GHz over 5-km SMF-28 and 6-ft free-space is successfully demonstrated without decoders/demodulators.
