1.83-μs Wavelength-Transparent All-Optical Delay

Abstract

We demonstrate a record wavelength-transparent, all-optical delay of 1.83 μs using precise dispersion engineering and triple wavelength conversion. The maximal 3-dB penalty achieved over the entire delay tuning range is the lowest reported impairment to date.
