Abstract

We realize a 32-channel InP-based Arrayed-Waveguide Grating (AWG) with a 5-GHz channel spacing. The AWG shows approximately 14 dB excess-loss, 9 dB crosstalk, and 21 × 22 mm2 dimensions.
