Investigation of Nonlinear DPSK Fading due to Cross-Polarization Modulation

Abstract

We examine nonlinear fading in differential PSK receivers due to cross-phase modulation and determine its relevance in the presence of cross-phase modulation. We find that XPolM does not contribute to the nonlinear penalty.
