Abstract

We present the first experimental demonstration of simultaneous monitoring of first-order PMD with random power-split and chromatic dispersion using asynchronous delay-tap sampling, in a commercial 10 Gbit/s WDM test-bed. Accuracies achieved were ±3.1ps and ±17ps/nm.
