An Optical Frequency Comb Generator as a Broadband Pulse Source

Abstract

We demonstrate the generation of wavelength tunable, 0.62 ps, near transform-limited pulses at a repetition rate of 20 GHz by combining an ultra-stable optical frequency comb generator with a delay line interferometer.
