Quaternary sequences comparison for the modeling of optical DQPSK dispersion managed transmission systems

Abstract

By means of numerical simulations, we test quaternary sequences, pre-coded for a differential logic at the receiver, with respect to their efficiency of properly modeling the performance of DQPSK dispersion-managed transmission systems.
