Abstract

Germano-silicate glass fiber containing silver nanocrystals was developed by modified chemical vapor deposition and solution doping processes. The SPR absorption band appeared centering at 501nm and the resonant nonlinear refractive index at 1549nm was 5.4×10−16m2/W.
