Joint Electronic Dispersion Compensation for DQPSK

Abstract

We investigate electronic dispersion compensation for DQPSK based on linear and nonlinear feed-forward and decision feedback equalizers as well as maximum likelihood sequence estimation. We propose joint processing of the two tributaries to exploit any cross-coupling.
