Fiber Lasers for Secure Key Distribution

Abstract

We study a new concept for secure key distribution based on establishing laser oscillations between sender and receiver. The eavesdropping difficulty can be increased arbitrarily, making it an intriguing alternative to quantum key distribution systems.
