Abstract

We demonstrate combined wireless and optical fibre channel transmission of Wimediadefined, MB-OFDM, UWB radio by directly modulation of 4.8GHz VCSELs. Range extension to 400m for multi-cell HDTV sharing is achievable with low-cost remote antenna units.
