Basic Designs of New Generation Optical Access Based on WDM-direct for ADS, PON and SS Topologies

Abstract

We propose basic designs of new-generation optical access based on WDM-direct. Our proposed ADS/PON with 32 ONUs can numerically provide a guaranteed/dedicated bandwidth of 310Gbps per ONU and additional shared bandwidth of up to 620Gbps.
