Abstract

We propose a novel re-modulation scheme using downstream OOK and upstream DPSK. A 30-km-range colorless WDM-PON without dispersion compensation and re-modulation synchronization was demonstrated within 1-dB penalty for both 10-Gbit/s downstream and 10Gbit/s upstream signals.
