Large-mode-area single-mode holey fiber with low bending losses: Towards high power beam delivery systems

Abstract

We propose a novel design method for large-mode-area single-mode holey fiber with effective mode area of 1400 μm2, small allowable bending radius of 5 cm, and good beam quality factor of 1.15 at 1.064-μm wavelength.
