Abstract

Patterned 3D photonic crystals are fabricated by autocloning, a unique process for film deposition. A number of novel devices/systems are realized. Applications to polarization imaging, fiber optic SOP monitor, biophotonics, and pickup for multilayer DVD are reviewed.
