RWA Using Wavelength Ordering for Crosstalk Limited Networks

Abstract

A wavelength ordering technique is proposed to combat adjacent-channel crosstalk in wavelength- routed optical networks. The blocking probability using ordering approaches the performance of QoS-aware wavelength assignment algorithms with the same complexity as traditional techniques.
