10Gb/s Bidirectional Transmission in a 116km Reach Hybrid DWDM-TDM PON

Abstract

We report bidirectional transmission at 10Gb/s over a 116km-reach DWDM amplified PON using remote reflective modulation of an optical carrier. The full network supports up to 1088 customers with mean data rates of 155Mb/s.
