Abstract

A widely tuneable second harmonic generator in a periodically poled germanosilicate optical fibre is demonstrated for the first time. Broadband wavelength tuning of 27.8nm is achieved using a highly efficient compression tuneable package demonstrated with fibre Bragg gratings.
