Abstract

In this paper we demonstrate measured results from two different EDC architectures, a Feed Forward Equalizer (FFE) and a Decision Feedback Equalizer (DFE). These are used to compensate for ISI caused by modal dispersion in highly band-limited multi-mode fiber links.
