Abstract

43-Gbit/s PMD-limited performances of CS-RZ and NRZ have been verified in a joint field trail. CS-RZ showed better performance than NRZ. 2nd-order PMD of 200 ps2 was accommodated in principal state of polarization transmission with FEC.
