Design of Survivable WDM Networks with Shared-P-Cycles

Abstract

We propose a new approach, namely shared preconfigured protection cycles (shared-p- cycles), for design of survivable WDM networks. Numerical results show that the shared-p-cycles design is much more efficient than the conventional p-cycles design.
