Monolithically integrated SOA-MZI wavelength converter with assist DFB-LD

Abstract

Monolithically integrated wavelength converter based on semiconductor optical amplifier with distributed feedback laser diode is fabricated. Gain recovery time of 7 ps is achieved for the semiconductor optical amplifier in experiment with simulated optimization.
