Abstract

We demonstrated 40×40 Gb/s all-Raman NRZ transmission over 1200 km of field-deployed dispersion-managed fiber. Precise dispersion slope matching and low temperature sensitivity eliminated the need of per-channel and dynamic dispersion compensation.
