Abstract

Demultiplexing of 160 Gb/s OTDM data to 10 Gb/s has been demonstrated with a 100 m highly nonlinear fiber based all-optical demultiplexer. The scheme employs cross-phase modulation induced wavelength shifting with subsequent optical filtering.
