Polarization-Independent Optical Sampling System Using Two-Path Configuration

Abstract

We have successfully developed a polarization-independent optical sampling system using a two-path configuration based on sum-frequency generation. In this system, the polarization dependency was less than 3.5 % from 1520 to 1620 nm.
