TCP-Aware Active Congestion Control in Optical Packet-Switched Networks

Abstract

This paper proposes a TCP-aware active congestion control architecture in OPS networks and investigates the performance improvement. Simulation results indicate that the proposed scheme can significantly reduce packet-loss rate and efficiently enhance the network throughput.
