High Dynamic Range Characterization of Waveform and Frequency-Chirp of Pico-Second Pulses Based on the Precise Measurement of Group Delay in Optical Frequency Domain

Abstract

We propose a technique to characterize pico-second pulses based on the precise measurement of group-delay in the optical frequency domain. In the experiment, a high dynamic range of over 46 dB is achieved by drift cancellation.
