Extra-Broadband and Highly Efficient Short length Bi2O3-based EDF

Abstract

We demonstrated the 3-dB down bandwidth of 75 nm with average output power over 20 dBm for single-stage operation with Bi2O3-based EDF. Its max power conversion efficiency was 39 % at 1560 nm.
