Abstract

Hybrid fiber-radio networks operating at millimeter-wave (mm-wave) frequencies (26 GHz –100 GHz) which incorporate a centralized control architecture (comprising a central office (CO) and fiber feed backbone interconnecting a large number of functionally simple and compact antenna base stations (BSs)) are being considered for the provision of future broadband interactive services.1
