Abstract

We propose a novel coherent detection technique without PLL. In this technique, Phase-to-Amplitude conversion based on injection-locking is performed. We demonstrate the error-free detection for OC-192 (9.95328Gb/s) phase-modulated data without serious laser phase noise problem.
