Abstract

We compare theoretical and experimental switching windows of an all-optical switch designed for demultiplexing of 160Gbit/s to 10Gbit/s and 40Gbit/s. Demultiplexing to 40Gbit/s reduces the transmittance of the switch but improves the cross-talk performance.
