Dependence of coherent crosstalk penalty on the OSNR of the signal

Abstract

The in-band crosstalk induced penalty mixed with different signal quality (OSNR, extinction ratio) is investigated. Also tolerant characteristics of the in-band crosstalk induced penalty to the signal quality at optimum decision level is discussed.
