1580-nm Band Erbium-Doped Fiber Amplifier Employing Novel Temperature Compensation Technique

Abstract

We have developed a novel configuration of a 1580-nm band erbium-doped fiber amplifier employing temperature compensation technique. The gain flatness less than 1.0dB over 30nm is successfully achieved from 0°C and 70°C.
