A Multi-channel Dispersion Slope Compensating Optical Allpass Filter

Abstract

A multi-channel dispersion slope compensating filter based on a Gires-Tournois interferometer with a specially designed thin-film filter is presented. The allpass filter has low loss, negligible birefringence, and can compensate channels across a wavelength band.
