Abstract

We demonstrate a simple approach to stabilized control of thermally tuned fiber grating devices that use integrated thin film resistive heaters. This technique exploits the temperature dependence of the resistance of the integrated heater as a sensors to accurately and continuously measure the fiber temperature.
