Abstract

We theoretically demonstrate that stimulated Raman scattering crosstalk in wavelength-division-multiplexed systems can be totally eliminated using spectral inversion techniques. This result is always true irrespective of the specific Raman gain curve or the loss/gain profile of the fiber system.
