Wideband multiwavelength erbium-doped fiber ring laser

Abstract

Simultaneous lasing of stable 34 lines with ~100 GHz channel spacing in 1535 – 1562 nm range is demonstrated from a frequency shifted feedback type multiwavelength erbium-doped fiber ring laser including a gain flattening filter.
