Abstract

Although high speed time division multiplexing (TDM) transmission will be a key technology for future high-capacity networks [1,2], one, serious problem is high order dispersion compensation. Specifically, it is difficult to compensate third order dispersion of a dispersion-shifted fiber (DSF) around the zero-dispersion wavelength.
