Abstract
Four-wave mixing (FWM) in a fiber can be utilized for wavelength convertors and chromatic-dispersion compensators based on phase conjugation. However, stimulated Brillouin scattering (SBS) limits the input pump power and induces error-rate degradation in a wavelength-converted signal.1,2
