Abstract

For distributing multichannel VSB-AM video signals to the homes through passive double star (PDS) optical networks, a super wideband frequency modulation (FM) scheme1-3 is very attractive because the scheme can enlarge the power margin, endure large optical reflections, and tolerate fiber dispersion.
