Abstract

Future transparent networks need switching in the space/frequency domain of an OFDM crossconnect [1]. The space-stage of an OFDM crossconnect for a large number of customers must be realized in a technology exhibiting low crosstalk, insertion loss and electrical power consumption, polarization independence as well as a high degree of integration on large substrates by a cost-effective manner.
