Abstract

For analog optical transmission, the multimode laser diode (LD) has been thought better because of Its low coherence. We report that the link using a distributed feedback laser diode (DFB-LD) single-mode fibers (SMFs), and low- reflection connectors exhibits superior analog transmission characteristics.
